These days, everyone has a large-screen LED, LCD or even OLED TV in their homes, and they watch all kinds of entertainment media with it. Experience video games, watching movies and TV series, or even surf the web with these modern, smart TVs, each of which has at least one USB port for watching popular user content.
One of the most frequently asked questions about modern TVs is how to watch movies and TV series that we play via USB flash drive with subtitles. Modern TVs these days use almost all the important formats and codecs to play video files, but playing subtitles in sync with video is a problem and challenge that many users are involved in and are looking for a solution.
In this article, we want to teach you how to show subtitles on movies, series or any other video content on TV. Stay tuned for more.
Playing subtitles on a movie, series or video on a modern TV is easy. To drop the subtitle on the video on the TV, just follow these steps:
Download the subtitle file you want. Note that the subtitle file must have an extension (.srt).
After downloading the subtitle, copy the name of your desired movie or video using Rename and drop it on the subtitle file. In other words, the movie name and subtitle must be exactly the same. Both of these files are in the same folder.
Connect your USB to the TV and enjoy watching movies and TV series with subtitles.
Note that the subtitle version may be different from the movie version and the timing of the two files may not be the same. In this case, if your TV has the ability to rewind and forward subtitles, you can change the timing as needed. If your TV does not have this feature, download subtitles that are fully compatible with your movie or series.
Also note that the subtitle file must have the srt extension so that your TV can read and recognize it. If the subtitle mode on your TV is off, turn it on.
